1. Turn on master key in middle of central console
2. Turn on fuel pump - second from left key in top row on central console
3. If required, start engine - left key in top row on central console
4. Turn on power switch - third from left key in top row on central console
5. Press changeover button below throttle joystick to activate this position
6. Reverser to desired direction - switch in front of throttle joystick
7. Release handbrake - wheel on rear wall of loco below window
8. Release brakes
9. Apply power with spring loaded throttle joystick
10. Both brake levers are manual lap

• Lower the automatic coupler to make shunting easier
• Coupling and uncoupling to and from the loco can be done from inside cab using the uncouple switch on the window sill.
• The large lever on the rear of the central console switches between low speed / high torque (max speed 30 km/h and high speed low torque (max speed 60 km/h)
• SIFA (and PZB?) switch in fuses in front of driver below window
